Hello! My name is Gabe Smiley, and I’m an occupational therapist from Chapel Hill, North Carolina. I specialize in nature-based occupational therapy services for children with special needs, including autism, developmental delays, sensory processing issues, and other conditions. I have worked as a musician, caregiver, hand therapist, and even worked for a moving company.

In my personal life, I love to travel. This summer, I visited Ecuador and Peru, and my all-time favorite destination is Costa Rica. I also engage in meditation and mindfulness practices regularly and love spending time outdoors whenever I can. I incorporate my diverse experiences into my occupational therapy services, working to improve harmony and well-being within the overall family system while directly supporting the child.
